Meet Our Teachers
Joseph Neill
I have an Associate’s degree in foreign languages, a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Linguistics from the Ohio State University, and am currently going for my Master's in teaching Spanish as a foreign language at UNADE. I have studied Spanish for over 21 years with a focus in dialectical variations. Besides Spanish, I have studied French, Portuguese, Quechua, Japanese, Italian, German, as well as other languages. Although I do not feel comfortable in teaching those languages yet, I desire to be fluent in them as soon as possible. I am primarily a teacher in American English as well as someone who teaches the fundamentals of the Spanish language to those whose native language is English.
Ana Victoria Panato
I speak English and Portuguese fluently, my mother tongue is Spanish and now I'm working on improving my Italian and getting started with French. I just love a new challenge. I've been teaching these languages to foreigners since 2015. I'm Guatemalan and I learned these languages on my own because I love discovering the world and its mysteries, or the world and any kind of mysteries, the base of all this is communication and for me, the more languages I understand and are available for me to be used, the more I can understand different realities. Is not the same to learn something in one language as it is to learn the very same thing in another language. Lots of information and ideas are not available for us in one code. This is the curiosity and passion I aim to transmit to those who come to me looking for help to master a new language.

Angelika Davey
I am originally from Germany but have been living in the UK for over 40 years. As a teenager in Germany, I wasn't interested in learning languages and was failing in my English and French lessons.
Then I moved to England and after a while I found that not only is my English very good, I also like teaching. So, I went back to university to become a teacher. For a while I taught in primary schools, I even taught English as a foreign language. But my favourite is teaching German, which I have done as a self-employed German tutor since 2006.
Artem Dovhaliuk-Kovalskyi
I am from Ukraine, teach Ukrainian even though now I live in Poland.
I study biotechnology in Opole University, but I love learning languages. I speak: Ukrainian - native;
Russian - C2 (native level, but I consider it to be a foreign language)
Polish - B2; English - B2; French - B1; Spanish - B1; Slovak - B1; German - A2
The last three on this list I am learning on my own.
I am interested in etymology, grammar (historical and modern), looking for answers to questions like "why do we say it that way?", "what are the patterns for forming different word forms?". My lessons can be of any kind - from grammar through reading and discussion to pure speaking and "using" me just as a native speaker.
